Christmas Greetings Everyone,

We are indeed having winter weather. On Sat. it snowed and snowed and snowed some more. It was beautiful to look at and to watch it come down. The countryside was covered with a clean, white blanket of snow.

A few days later on my morning walk there was a slight breeze blowing and the sun was shining through a thin cloud which made it’s rays seem weak, otherwise the sky was mostly clear. It was a beautiful morning and a pleasure to be outside. I looked up as I heard the chirping of a flock of Horned Lark as they flew by overhead. It is amazing how those birds can find food in a field that is mostly covered with snow. Whenever farmers spread manure on a snow covered field it creates a good feeding spot for those  birds.

Is everyone busy with Christmas preparations?

In all our busyness let’s remember the real reason for the Christmas, which is Jesus. One Friday evening the youth enjoyed a time caroling; singing Christmas songs at different homes.

Following is a Christmas poem/blessing someone sent me. I want to share it with you all:

Christmas is a special time, A time for me to say,

How special is the friendship, we share along the way.

A special time for asking God, To bless you from above,
With all the joy of Christmas, And His unceasing Love.

“The smallest good deed is better than the greatest good intention.”

Joyous Christmas to all,   Sovilla
