Ingredients: Enriched Corn Grits (Corn Grits, Niacin, Iron (Ferrous Sulfate), Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid).
- White Hominy is corn that has been stripped of their bran and germ. This corn is especially popular in the south. Whole or ground hominy is boiled until it’s tender and then served as a side dish. Try serving as a cereal, vegetable and can even be made into patties and fried.
- Recipe: 3 cups water, ½ tsp. salt, 1 cup grits. Bring water and salt to a boil. Add grits and reduce heat. Cook slowly for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, cover and let stand for a couple minutes. Makes 4 generous servings.
