Ingredients: Long grain parboiled rice, iron phosphate, niacin, thiamine mononitrate, and folic acid.

  • This parboiled rice is rice that has been boiled in the husk. This process improves the nutritional value and makes it easier to process by hand. Try using this rice as a side dish or as a bed for fresh cooked meats and steamed vegetables.
  • Recipe: 1 cup Parboiled Rice, 2 cups water, 2 tbsp oil or butter, (salt & pepper to taste). In a covered saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add oil & seasoning to rice. Add rice to saucepan, stir only once, return to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover & let simmer 15 min. Keep covered, remove from heat & steam 5 min. Fluff with fork and serve.
