  • Home Style Bac’n Split Pea soup has a homemade flavor reminiscent of old-time sugar cured bacon. This soup will warm your heart at any time of the year. Carrots, onions, split peas, parsley and the rich taste of roasted garlic complete this fiber filled, easy to make soup.
  • Recipe: 5 cups water and 1 ½ cups Bac’n Split Pea Soup Starter. In a stock pot, combine water and soup starter and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to achieve a low boil and cook for 35-45 minutes, stirring frequently. Cook for less time for more distinctive peas and more time for a pureed texture. For a creamier soup, add ¼ cup of cream when the soup is finished cooking and stir well with a wire whisk.
