Ingredients: Enriched wheat flour bleached (flour, malted barley flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid) salt, part, hydro. soybean and/or cottonseed oil, sugar, adipic acid, dextrose, dry whey, corn flour, vital wheat gluten, mono & diglycerides w/ BHT as preserv., DATEM, leavening (baking soda, monocalcium phosphate), calcium stearoyl lactylate, wheat starch, calcium propionate (as preserv.), lactic acid, ascorbic acid (dough conditioner), calcium carbonate, phosphoric acid, acetic acid, yeast, tricalcium phosphate, silicon dioxide, L-Cysteine.
- Sourdough Bread Mix is simple to make – just add water and yeast to this mix to create a picture perfect loaf of sourdough bread every time.
- Recipe: 1.75 lb. mix (approx. 5 cups), 1¾ cup warm water, 1½ tbsp. dry yeast. Add yeast to water & let sit 5 min. Add mix & stir till wet. Knead or mix till smooth. Cover dough & let rise for 40-45 min. Divide into 2 loaves & place on sheet pan (covered) for 30-45 minutes. Bake for 35-40 minutes at 375°. Cut recipe in half for bread machine.
