  • Q- What is the difference between sulfured and unsulfered molasses?
    A- Unsulfered molasses is made from sugarcane plants that have ripened naturally. Sulfured molasses is from a much younger sugar cane that is unripe and to which sulfer dioxide is added to ripen it and as a preservative.
    –Naturally ripened sugar cane produces molasses that is considered a better and safer health choice. Store molasses in a cool place (not fridge) for one year.
