- Raw Blue Agave nectar is lightly filtered and gently processed at a low temperature and is a product of Central Mexico. This nectar has a mellow, rich sweetness that is perfect for fruit and beverages.
- It is a fantastic alternative to regular sugar. It is 25% sweeter than regular sugar, Naturally gluten free,non-GMO, vegan friendly and since it is heated at very low temperatures, it meets the needs of raw food enthusiasts.Low glycemic index 39 or less. Agave nectar does not form crystals and dissolves quickly in hot or cold liquids making it great to add to smoothies, tea, coffee, try it on pancakes, waffles, oatmeal and yogurt. It is sweeter than sugar, use less and you can substitute it for sugar in baking recipes. The conversion is 3/4 c. agave to 1 c. sugar.
