Regular rolled oats (sometimes called old fashioned oats) are made from kilned, whole groats processed by flaking and steaming. These regular oat flakes are mostly served as a popular, hot breakfast meal. In addition, they are a primary ingredient in a number of products such as cookies, breads and granola.
Very nice product. I had been buying Quaker Oats until I saw the Ashery’s price was less. I made a large batch of these old-fashioned oats today in a pot on the stove. (I’m only mentioning that because some folks make them in the microwave.) I had to add more water than the standard 2 parts water to 1 part oats ratio as the oats started to cook. I brought them to a near rolling bowl, turned off the heat, put the lid on the pot, and let the oats sit for 15 minutes. They were delicious. I will purchase these again.
We do things a little differently from your standard grocery store. Here is a guide for shopping with us:
VARIABLE WEIGHT ITEMS
• Some of our products are sold by the pound, which means each bag can vary in weight.
• For each variable weight item, you must select the size you would like to order – this is the minimum weight of the bag you will receive. The actual weight may vary by up to 5%, but the total weight of each product ordered will never be less than the weight you select.
• The listed price is the price that you will pay – regardless of whether the weight varies or not
NO HIDDEN FEES
• Each transaction will show you the price for the products, the price for shipping & handling and the total. We do not build the cost for shipping into our products prices then claim to offer “free shipping”. We want you to see exactly what you’re paying for.
If anything is confusing or needs improving, feel free to give us a call at (330) 359-5615 or send us a message. Happy shopping!
